Annette Cremata Day helps clients tackle complex antitrust issues. Her practice focuses on government reviews of mergers and acquisitions, antitrust litigation, civil government investigations, and antitrust counseling. In particular, Annette has represented clients before the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Congress, state antitrust enforcement authorities, as well as before federal courts in litigated challenges by the government. She also represents clients in high-stakes civil antitrust litigation.
Annette represents clients in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, technology, food, and retail.
Annette also has an extensive track record of public service. At the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and at the White House, Office of National Drug Control Policy, she has worked on key pieces of legislation and focused on investigations, regulatory, and compliance issues. While working for the Senate Judiciary Committee, and for a U.S. Senator on the Judiciary Committee Subcommittee on Competition Policy, Antitrust, and Consumer Rights, she has assisted Committee members prepare for investigations and hearings. Bringing her track record of public service to bear, Annette provides a steady hand to prepare clients for government oversight inquiries.
Annette received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as an editor of the California Law Review. She received her B.A., with honors, from Brown University in English Literature.
