Alexis Gannaway represents clients in internal investigations, government investigations and litigation, and complex civil litigation. A significant focus of Alexis’ practice involves advising clients in the life sciences and healthcare industries on matters arising under the False Claims Act (FCA) and the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS). She also maintains a robust pro bono practice.
Alexis graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law. She was an Associate Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal, provided legal services to clients in the Federal Litigation Clinic and competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Sanket J. Bulsara in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Eric N. Vitaliano in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Alexis received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated with honors.
