Adrienne Jackson is a dedicated professional who joined Arnold & Porter in February of 2021 to support the firm's growing national security, defense, and international client base. She works closely with clients on a range of federal policy issues including, defense, technology, and trade. She closely monitors policy developments within these areas, conducts research to assist clients in the development and implementation of strategic plans, and advances client goals through engagement with the Legislative and Executive branches. Specifically, she aids clients in navigating the annual authorization and appropriations processes, identifying policy and funding opportunities and working closely with key Hill and Executive staff.
Prior to joining the firm, Adrienne was the Army Legislative Manager for the National Guard Association of the United States, securing several policy priorities within annual defense legislation and funding for the men and women of the National Guard. She also worked closely to ensure that Guard members received the proper healthcare and benefits during their mission on the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis, utilizing a broad network both in Congress and the Executive Branch. Additionally, she brings extensive Capitol Hill experience after working for the then Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senator James M. Inhofe (R-OK), as a member of his defense, foreign affairs, and veterans affairs team for over four years.
