Alissa Kalinowski's practice focuses on advising tax-exempt organizations on regulatory, transactional, and operational matters, including qualification and compliance with grant programs, business activities, lobbying and political activities, and other requirements for tax-exempt organizations.
During law school, Alissa served as a Senior Articles Editor of the Administrative Law Review. Additionally, Alissa served as a judicial extern to Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and Judge Craig Iscoe of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining the firm, Alissa was an associate in the Tax practice of other prominent law firms.
