Paul Lim assists in advising bank and nonbank financial institutions on a wide range of regulatory, transactional, and general corporate matters, including matters within the supervisory jurisdiction of the Federal Reserve Board, the OCC, the FDIC, and the CFPB, as well as state financial regulatory agencies. Paul also assists in advising clients in the acquisition and sale of financial institutions and non-bank financial service companies.
His pro bono work includes assisting clients in immigration and asylum cases, defending victims of domestic violence, and assisting non-profit organizations in connection with formation and tax-exemption.
Paul earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as Student Attorney at the Environmental Law Clinic, a member of Morningside Heights Legal Services. Prior to law school, he served as a Staff Sergeant for the Republic of Korea Air Force.
