Marissa Loya focuses her practice on civil litigation and represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters in both federal and state courts. Her pro bono practice includes representing military-connected sexual assault victims as a civilian Victims' Legal Counsel.
Ms. Loya graduated from Georgetown University Law Center where she received the 2019 Domestic Violence Clinic Outstanding Advocate Award. Prior to law school, she served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2008–2015 with a combat tour to Afghanistan. Ms. Loya transitioned to the Marine Corps Reserves in 2015 and currently serves as a Warfighting Instructor to newly commissioned Marine officers.
Ms. Loya is the co-chair of the firm's military veterans affinity group, Veterans and Affiliates Leadership Organization (VALOR).
