Andrea Mauri Paricio advises and represents States and private clients in investor-State and commercial arbitrations, as well as in matters of public international law. She has extensive experience in proceedings conducted under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, SCC, and ICC arbitration rules. Andrea has also advised States and individuals in relation to proceedings conducted before a range of international courts and tribunals, including the International Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, as well as before domestic courts. Her experience spans a variety of sectors, including energy, mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure. She has participated in disputes across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, and has experience conducting adversarial proceedings in both English and Spanish. Andrea regularly provides pro bono advice on public international law matters, including international humanitarian law and human rights.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrea worked at a London-based public international law firm and at a Spanish law firm, where she advised on commercial and investor-State arbitrations and a broad range of public international law matters, including international investment law, maritime boundary delimitation, and international human rights law. She also served as legal counsel in the disputes team of a multinational contractor in the oil and gas sector.
Andrea is fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan, and has a working knowledge of Italian.
