James Moes is an associate in Arnold & Porter’s general litigation group. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, product liability litigation, and securities litigation and enforcement.

James earned his J.D. at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he served as Senior Managing Editor on the Wisconsin Law Review. He was also a judicial intern for Justice Jill Karofsky of the Wisconsin Supreme Court; a competing member on the Wisconsin Moot Court Board; and a clinical student in the Federal Appeals Project, which represents indigent defendants at the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to law school, James worked as a tax associate in the financial services office of a public accounting firm.
