Nicholas Nyemah focuses his practice on patent litigation in U.S. district and appellate courts, and in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has also prepared and prosecuted foreign and domestic patent applications, and has counseled clients with respect to patentability, validity, infringement, and freedom to operate.

With a background in electrical engineering and computer science, his patent experience includes: automotive devices; computer systems, networks, and applications; consumer electronics; electrical components, connectors, cables, and assemblies; medical devices; photovoltaic systems; satellite communication systems; semiconductor design and manufacturing; sensors and actuators; and telecommunication systems.

Prior to attending law school, Nicholas worked as an engineer in the Integrated Defense Systems division of the Boeing Company, where he authored numerous hardware specifications and test procedures for GPS satellite components.

As a law student, he served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy. As a member of the Georgetown Criminal Justice Clinic, he represented indigent clients in the District of Columbia Superior Court and before the U.S. Parole Commission. He also worked as a law clerk for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender and the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Maryland.
