Matthew Peterson focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. He has represented clients in consumer product, commercial contract, antitrust, securities, private equity, and property matters.

Mr. Peterson also maintains a robust pro bono practice with a focus on voting rights, gun violence prevention, criminal justice, and constitutional rights litigation.

Mr. Peterson graduated magna cum laude from New York University School Law. While obtaining his degree, he served as an executive board member of NYU Law’s Moot Court Board and earned first place at UNLV Law’s 2020 Schreck Gaming Law Moot Court Competition. In addition, Mr. Peterson interned for the Office of the New York State Attorney General in its Health Care Bureau.

Mr. Peterson received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Duke University. The Sanford School of Public Policy awarded him the Joel Fleishman Distinguished Scholar Award for graduating with the highest academic average among all public policy majors.
