Janet Robin serves as Chief Human Resources Officer of Arnold & Porter and leads all aspects of the Human Resources department. She is responsible for the full life cycle of the firm’s business professionals, which includes developing and implementing strategies to continually enhance recruitment, advancement, retention, professional development initiatives, training, and mentorship programs.
Other facets of Janet’s role involve overseeing the firm’s compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to human resources management; managing the implementation of comprehensive benefit programs; responsibility for evaluating performance management standards; and compensation analysis. Janet partners with executive leadership, department heads, and other internal stakeholders throughout the firm to foster a positive, diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace that promotes employee engagement, productivity, and satisfaction. She is an active member of the firm’s Well-Being and Diversity & Inclusion Committees.
With over three decades of experience in the legal industry, Janet provides in-depth human resources expertise. Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, she held positions in human resources and operations at Am Law 100 and 200 firms.
