Peter J.C. Saban

Peter Saban's practice focuses on the representation of sovereign States, corporate clients and individuals in investor-State arbitrations, international commercial arbitrations, and litigation, as well as advising on public international law matters. Peter has experience in arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICSID and UNCITRAL arbitration rules. He also has advised States, NGOs, and individuals in relation to proceedings conducted before a range of international courts and tribunals, including the European Court of Human Rights, as well as before national courts, including the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. Mr Saban has advised clients in a variety of sectors, including mining, energy, transportation, oil and gas, and infrastructure. He has participated in adversarial proceedings conducted in English and Spanish, concerning disputes in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. 

Peter maintains an active pro bono practice and regularly advises on a wide range of legal and strategic matters as well as representing clients in matters of public international law matters, including international humanitarian law and human rights.
