Sangeeta Shastry

Sangeeta focuses her practice on product liability litigation and complex commercial litigation. She has significant experience managing fact and expert discovery and pre-trial strategy and preparation in product liability and occupational exposure cases across multiple jurisdictions, as well as strategizing and drafting a broad range of briefing at the trial and appellate levels.

Sangeeta has served as second-chair trial counsel in a premises liability action resulting in a complete defense verdict. She has substantial deposition experience, and she has worked with several trial teams supporting all aspects of trial preparation.

Sangeeta maintains a robust pro bono practice, including as trial counsel in a criminal matter. She also has pro bono experience in immigration and asylum, FOIA, and election issues.
