Esther Sohn represents clients across a range of antitrust and competition matters, including complex civil litigation, government reviews of mergers and acquisitions, and investigations. Esther has represented clients before the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, and against State Attorneys General. Her industry experience includes healthcare and life sciences, media and entertainment, publishing, fine arts, food and beverage, and telecommunications.
Esther received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served on the Senior Board of the New York University Law Review. During law school, Esther served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Patty Shwartz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Esther received her B.S.F.S. from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, summa cum laude.

- HarperCollins Publishers in securing dismissals of purported class actions in SDNY litigation involving the pricing and sale of electronic and print books brought against major book publishers and technology company.
- Sotheby’s in SDNY litigation involving allegations of fraud with respect to the purchase and sale of numerous art masterpieces. The alleged fraud had been considered one of the largest art frauds in history, valued at up to $1 billion.
- Generic pharmaceuticals manufacturer in consolidated federal multi-district litigation involving several dozen direct and indirect purchaser class action complaints, as well as State Attorneys General actions.
- Dunkin' Brands in investigation, litigation, and favorable settlement of a State Attorney General lawsuit involving consumer data security and privacy protection claims.
