Alejandra C. Uria represents clients in a variety of industries in complex civil antitrust litigation, government review of mergers and acquisitions, filing obligations under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, and other competition and antitrust matters. Alejandra maintains a robust pro bono practice primarily dedicated to civil rights litigation on behalf of incarcerated persons.
Alejandra received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A. from Columbia University. Alejandra is the co-founder and director of a non-profit, The Fines and Fees Freedom Fund, an organization which challenges the widespread practice of jailing people for unpaid debts.
