Nicholas West

Nicholas West provides legal advice to the firm on issues related to conflicts of interest, ethics, and compliance with rules of professional responsibility. Mr. West conducts in depth conflicts analyses for potential lateral hires. He drafts and implements ethical screens and notices required under the rules of professional responsibility. As a member of the firm's Ethics and Practice Committee, he advises firm attorneys on a wide range of ethics issues. He works closely with the firm's Legal Personnel Department advising on issues related to bar admissions, unauthorized practice of law questions, and retention of contract personnel. Mr. West was previously an in-house, corporate counsel and has prior experience as a conflicts attorney.
