Zachary A. Woodward is a member of the firm's general litigation group. He represents clients in a wide array of litigation matters.
Zachary graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an Executive Submissions Editor and Congress Editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation and Co-President of the Harvard Law Democrats. He also participated in Harvard's Capital Punishment Clinic, through which he worked on behalf of clients sentenced to death in Texas. While in law school, he interned with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts, where he worked on drug trafficking and money laundering cases, and the U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of the General Counsel, where he worked on enforcement and litigation matters.
Prior to law school, Zachary served as a research director and writer to a U.S. Senator. Policy areas he worked on during this time included foreign relations, armed services, education, health care, and constitutional law.
Zachary received his B.A. magna cum laude in Religious Studies and Government from the College of William & Mary. His thesis on twelfth-century Western canon law received highest honors.
