On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, the DC Council passed the COVID-19 Supplemental Corrections Emergency Amendment Act (the Amendment). The Amendment, which is expected to be signed by the Mayor in the next few days, modifies the COVID-19 Response Supplemental Emergency Act of 2020 (the Temporary Mortgage Relief Act) passed earlier in April, in several significant ways for commercial property owners in the District of Columbia.
