The Future of DEI
601 Massachusetts Ave., NW
Washington, DC 20001
Arnold & Porter Washington, DC Office
Join ALLRISE DC and Arnold & Porter for an in-person panel discussion on the Future of DEI. Our panelists will explore the implications for the financial services sector of the July Supreme Court decision* striking down the use of race as a factor in college admissions. Since the decision, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs beyond universities have been the targets of legal challenges and legislation. We look forward to a lively discussion among our panelists: Josh Alloy and Elisabeth Theodore of Arnold & Porter, Michael Briggs of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Naomi Mercer of the American Bankers Association, and Nikita Pearson of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Senator Christopher Dodd, senior counsel with Arnold & Porter, will provide opening remarks.
We hope you will join us for a reception immediately following the panel. As with all of our programs, this is open to financial services professionals from government, industry, law firms, trade associations, and consulting firms and is intended to comply with the reception exception to the congressional gift rules and the de minimis exception under the federal banking agencies' ethics rules.
