“Firing on All Cylinders”: A Look at the CFPB’s Agenda in the Aftermath of CFPB v. CFSA

July 24, 2024
Arnold & Porter and FTI Consulting Webinar

On May 16, 2024, the U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the constitutionality of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), holding in Consumer Financial Protection Bureau v. Community Financial Services Association of America, Ltd that the funding mechanism of the CFPB satisfied the Appropriations Clause of the U.S. Constitution. According to CFPB Director Rohit Chopra, the CFPB will be “firing on all cylinders” as a result of the Supreme Court’s decision. Please join us for a webinar on the CFPB’s priorities following the CFSA ruling.

This informative session will feature attorneys from our Financial Services and White Collar Defense & Investigations practice groups, who will discuss what to anticipate from the CFPB with regard to the agency’s rulemaking, supervision, and enforcement activities in the weeks and months ahead.
