The energy transition was supercharged by the Inflation Reduction Act and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, two laws promising new incentives and opportunities to all sectors of the economy seeking alternative energy sources, including transportation, power, and manufacturing. But implementation of many aspects of the laws have met myriad challenges and raised novel legal, regulatory, and policy issues.

Join us for a roundtable discussion with Arnold & Porter's multidisciplinary energy transition team to take stock of developments to date, and discuss the key outstanding regulatory and policy questions to be resolved by the next administration.

Topics of discussion will range from electric power to renewable fuels, from carbon management to carbon markets, and from green funds to tax credits and domestic manufacturing requirements. We will also consider the role of environmental justice and prospects for future congressional activity.
