Partner Brian Israel, who chairs Arnold & Porter's Environmental practice, was quoted in a recent The American Lawyer article about US law firms growing climate-related practices. Israel discusses the "ripening of issues related to climate" and how those issues are shaping the legal landscape.
Israel notes that Arnold & Porter's Environmental practice has adapted to accommodate different requirements, standards and expectations that stem from climate change issues. "To be an environmental lawyer in 2020 is largely to be a climate lawyer," Israel explains. "You can't really separate it."
