Norberg Quoted in The Washington Post on Tech Whistleblower Complaint
Securities and Enforcement Litigation partner Jane Norberg was quoted in a recent article from The Washington Post, “Facebook Whistleblower Alleges Executives Misled Investors About Climate, Covid Hoaxes in New SEC Complaints.” The article discusses two whistleblower complaints filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission this month alleging that the tech company misled investors about its efforts to combat climate change and COVID-19 misinformation.
Norberg, who served as Chief of the Office of the Whistleblower at the SEC prior to joining Arnold & Porter, comments on the SEC’s strong enforcement stance and how the agency has been focused on accurate disclosures by companies to investors.
