Harris Quoted in BCL Legal Recruitment on the Challenges Recruiting Legal Talent
Arnold & Porter partner Kathleen Harris, who heads the firm's London office and co-chairs the firm's Anti-Corruption practice, was quoted in a BCL Legal Recruitment article discussing the challenges facing UK law firms in terms of attracting talent, promoting diversity and inclusion, and maintaining growth.
Harris provided insight and advice on how to handle burnout from demanding clients, saying “any service-focused role is tough, as you are not always able to contribute to the external factors that create pressures. However, encouraging and fostering a positive work culture, and never believing it is something you can rely on to happen organically, is a step in the right direction.” Harris also spoke on the need for firms to continue promoting diversity and inclusion, especially as it reflects a work environment that supports positive social change.
