Geverola Quoted in Bloomberg Law on DOJ Price-Fixing Loss

Antitrust Partner Andre Geverola was quoted in the recent Bloomberg Law article, “DOJ Tactics Come Under Scrutiny After Chicken Price-Fixing Loss.” The article discusses the Justice Department’s recent loss in a trial against chicken-industry executives accused of price-fixing. Geverola discussed the trial, saying one of the major issues the DOJ faced was relying on a single immunized co-conspirator witness because “juries are skeptical of immunized witnesses, and having only one makes it more tough.”
