Bernstein Featured in Insider as Top Bankruptcy Lawyer During Economy Shift

Bankruptcy and Restructuring partner Michael L. Bernstein was featured in a recent article from Business Insider highlighting the top 16 restructuring lawyers representing companies, lenders, landlords, creditors, buyers, and other important stakeholders in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings. The feature highlighted Bernstein’s work advising governments and other stakeholders in cross-border matters and US bankruptcies.

Business Insider also highlighted Bernstein’s representation of private equity firms, asset managers and venture capital firms, which Bernstein noted is "illustrative of the kind of work that I've done for 25 or 30 years, representing various asset managers and private-equity funds in connection with their own portfolio companies."

Outside of the firm, Bernstein is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and served as Director and Member of the Executive Committee the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has been recognized by Chambers USA for nearly twenty years for his bankruptcy and restructuring work.
