Johnson Quoted in Bloomberg Law on Corporate Board Diversity

Teresa Johnson, co-head of the firm's Capital Markets practice, was quoted in the recent Bloomberg Law article, “Nasdaq to Defend Board Diversity Push After California Setbacks.” The article discusses the challenge to Nasdaq Inc.’s requirement that its listed companies have diverse corporate boards or explain why they don’t. Johnson told Bloomberg Law that once companies diversify their boards in compliance with Nasdaq’s diversity requirement, the hope is that such diversity will continue, regardless of whether the requirement survives the impending challenge in the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
