Ware Quoted in Law360 on International Arbitration Cases to Watch in 2023

International Arbitration partner Anton Ware was quoted in the Law360 article discussing six upcoming International Arbitration cases that could have a significant impact. Ware spoke on the case between Nigeria and Process & Industrial Developments Ltd., in which Nigeria is seeking to set aside, on grounds of alleged corruption and fraud, an investor-State arbitration award worth roughly $10 billion after accounting for interest. Ware explained that while a victory for Nigeria would encourage other respondent States to thoroughly investigate corruption and fraud allegations, it would not necessarily open floodgates to similar post-award challenges in other cases.
