International Trade Senior Counsel Claire Reade was featured on Bloomberg TV's “Daybreak Asia” to discuss U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s recent trip to China, where Yellen raised concerns about Chinese overproduction and warned against support for Russia. Reade, former Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for China Affairs, told Bloomberg that Yellen’s message to Beijing would include a warning that the Biden administration will act to defend against distortive Chinese industrial policies that harm the U.S. economy.
