Bloomberg Law Speaks With Lawrence Culleen on EPA’s Delay in Approving New Chemicals

Environmental partner Lawrence Culleen was recently quoted in the Bloomberg Law article, “EPA’s New Chemicals Program Eyed as Effort Builds to Change Law.” The article addresses the Environmental Protection Agency’s delayed reviews of new chemicals for approval.
Culleen said the delays impact manufacturers’ ability to use the chemicals to add functionality to televisions, automotive touch screens, and medical equipment. Chemicals can react with electricity to create more vivid colors, improve finger-computer connectivity, or help diagnose patients, he explained.
