Carlos Lobo Quoted in CNN Brasil, Other Top Regional Outlets on Tariff Impacts

Carlos Lobo, Corporate & Finance partner and member of the firm's Latin America practice, was recently quoted in an article on CNN Brasil that was also published in more than 20 Brazilian news outlets, including other prominent publications such as ISTOÉ Independente, Universo Online, ISTOÉ Dinheiro, and Estadão E-Investidor.

The article, titled "Tarifas de Trump ao Brasil são vistas com alívio e podem favorecer vendas | Trump's tariffs on Brazil are seen with relief and may favor sales," discusses the impact of tariffs imposed by the U.S. government on Brazilian products.

Lobo said that Brazil could benefit from the U.S.'s significant rearrangement of international trade, potentially attracting companies due to its lower tax rates than other countries like China. He also noted that Brazil might expand its market share in certain sectors while acknowledging that tariffs on aluminum, steel, and auto parts could indirectly impact Brazil's economy.
