O'Neill and Linder Named 'Top Lobbyists' by the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics

November 10, 2020

Arnold & Porter Legislative & Public Policy practice group chair Kevin O'Neill and policy advisor Sara Linder were recognized by the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics for their outstanding legislative work in the group's 2020 "Top Lobbyists" list. The National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics is the trade association for the lobbying and government affairs profession.

The list, which is comprised of lobbyists, PAC managers and grassroots professionals, recognizes individuals who "saw significant legislative success in 2020, that are held in high regard by their clients and colleagues, and are individuals who give back to their community through charity or pro bono work." O'Neil and Linder were 2 of just 16 individuals named to the 2020 list from the large lobbying firms category.

O'Neill's clients span several sectors of the economy including trade, technology, tax and financial services, federal funding healthcare, education, transportation, and local government. During the COVID-19 crisis, O'Neill has been engaged in helping major corporations and associations in industries as varied at technology, entertainment and travel, education, healthcare, financial services, energy, and transportation seek specific COVID-19 legislative relief in Congress and the Executive branch.

Linder focuses her work on a range of defense, veterans, education, appropriations, and healthcare policy matters. Her notable 2020 legislative success includes leading an Arnold & Porter team's pro bono work on behalf of military sexual assault survivors.
