Rothman and Duggal Recognized by the 2020 Rising Stars Awards Americas

Arnold & Porter's Eric Rothman and Kabir Duggal were recognized as "Rising Stars" by the Rising Stars Awards Americas 2020. The Euromoney Rising Stars Awards recognize attorneys under 40 for their professional accomplishments, advocacy, and influence during the preceding year within their practice area. Rothman and Duggal were both recognized in the United States jurisdiction.

Rothman, a partner in the firm's New York office, focuses on a wide variety of life sciences transactions, for both foreign and domestic clients, representing many of the world's most sophisticated life sciences companies. This past year, Rothman was part of the team advising AstraZeneca on the funding and global distribution of Oxford University's COVID-19 vaccine. Rothman was also shortlisted in the Life Sciences category for his outstanding work in this area.

Duggal is a senior international arbitration advisor in the firm's New York office. He focuses his practice on international investment arbitration, international commercial arbitration and public international law matters, serving both as counsel and arbitrator. He has been involved in some of the largest investor-state and commercial disputes.
