New York Law Journal’s 2021 New York Legal Awards Recognize Rogers, Stoldt
New York Law Journal has recognized two Arnold & Porter partners in its New York Legal Awards program for demonstrating outstanding litigation and transactional capabilities in the last year. The awards annually showcase attorneys who have "made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in New York."
Antitrust/Competition partner Margaret Rogers was named as one of New York Law Journal's 2021 "Rising Stars," an accolade that annually recognizes the region's "most promising lawyers" under the age of 40. Rogers litigates complex commercial and antitrust disputes, including class action litigation, for clients in state and federal courts throughout the US. Her recent work includes defending Sandoz Inc. and its subsidiary Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc. in a consolidated multi-district litigation over generic drug pricing disputes and co-leading a litigation team for Penguin Random House LLC in several consolidated class actions relating to allegedly anticompetitive distribution agreements.
Partner Derek Stoldt, who co-chairs the firm's Corporate and Finance group and co-heads the firm's Life Sciences Transactions practice, was named as one of New York Law Journal's 2021 "Dealmakers of the Year." The award annually recognizes the work of New York's "talented and hardworking transactional lawyers." In 2020, Stoldt and his team supported several life sciences clients in developing COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics and establishing worldwide commercial distribution networks. Stoldt was also recognized for his groundbreaking work alleviating ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic in The American Lawyer's inaugural list of "Northeast Trailblazers."
Recognized attorneys will be celebrated at an awards program taking place at the New York Marriott Marquis on October 13, 2021.
