Arnold & Porter Again Expands Corporate & Finance Practice, Partner Scott Berson Joins in New York Office
NEW YORK, MAY 12, 2022—Arnold & Porter announced today that Scott Berson has joined the firm’s Corporate & Finance practice as a partner, resident in New York.

His arrival will add depth to our integrated transactional platform.”
Mr. Berson represents lenders and borrowers in connection with structured and conventional financings, both secured and unsecured, and corporate clients in other transactional matters. His practice focuses on receivables transactions, including those structured as “true sales” and represents both purchasers and sellers in matters involving not only direct transfers, but also those structured as sales through supply chain platforms. He also has broad-based finance experience across industry sectors, including renewable energy and industrial equipment, fuel cell equipment, commodities, cloud services, auto parts, chemicals, technical support pharmaceuticals and fintech.
In joining the firm, Mr. Berson said: “I am delighted to join Arnold & Porter’s highly-regarded Corporate & Finance practice. I look forward to working alongside a talented team of lawyers to collaborate on trade finance matters, infrastructure deals and cross-border financing transactions.”
Mr. Berson earned his JD from New York University School of Law and his BA from Amherst College, with honors.
Mr. Berson’s arrival follows the recent addition of Alex Gendzier and Chris Willott (New York), Christopher Anderson (Chicago), Sara Glover and Pantea Garroussi (Denver), Marc Isaacs (London), and Hyung Soo Kim (Seoul).
