Arnold & Porter Wins Impact Deal at LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards 2024

Arnold & Porter’s acumen in the life sciences industry was recognized at the 12th annual LMG Life Sciences Awards on September 5, 2024.
The firm’s antitrust team was an “Impact Deal” winner for the Pfizer Acquisition of Seagen, a Seattle-based biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing antibody-based therapies for the treatment of cancer, for $43 billion. The acquisition, led by Niels Ersbøll, EU Antitrust head, Debbie Feinstein, Global Antitrust head and partner Matt Tabas, was the largest pharma merger since 2020 in terms of transaction value and positions oncology to become a significant growth driver for Pfizer.
