The Legal 500 Latin America 2025 Recognizes Arnold & Porter Lawyers, Practices
The 2025 edition of The Legal 500 Latin America recognized six Arnold & Porter lawyers and five practice areas. The Legal 500 researches the global legal market using feedback from 250,000 in-house counsels and lawyers worldwide.
The guide distinguished partners Paolo Di Rosa, Patricio Grané Labat, Gregory Harrington, and Christopher Willott as “Leading Partners.” Counsel Carlos Pelaez was also recognized as one of the “Next Generation Partners.” Partner Whitney Debevoise was named to the “Hall of Fame.”
The Legal 500 highlighted the firm’s impressive history in Latin America and noted that it is a “leader in sovereign finance and sovereign offerings.” The International Arbitration group again received a Tier 1 ranking and was referred to as having a “genuinely remarkable track record of winning on behalf of states.” The guide added that the firm is a “giant of investor-state arbitration in Latin America, frequently representing sovereign states in the region in large-scale and high-value arbitration proceedings.”
