Arnold & Porter Again Recognized by the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index
Arnold & Porter again earned a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI). This marks the 18th year that the firm has been recognized on the CEI, which is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. The firm received the “Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion” designation, which recognizes top-rated CEI employers who “took concrete steps to establish and implement comprehensive policies, benefits and practices that ensure greater equity for LGBTQ workers and their families.”
Ellen Kaye Fleishhacker, Global Co-Chair of Arnold & Porter, said: “Arnold & Porter’s continued recognition by the Human Rights Campaign demonstrates the firm’s unwavering commitment to a workplace that prioritizes support and respect for all. We are proud to be featured in this report with a score of 100 once again.”
Partner Angela Vicari, who co-chairs Pride, the firm’s LGBTQ+ affinity group, added: “I am delighted that Arnold & Porter was again recognized with a perfect score on the CEI. The Human Rights Campaign’s repeated recognition of Arnold & Porter is a testament to the firm’s longstanding dedication to inclusivity.”
The CEI assesses top-rated law firms and businesses on their non-discrimination policies, benefits for LGBTQ+ employees and their families, internal accountability metrics that promote inclusion and competency, and public commitment to LGBTQ+ equality. The CEI incrementally raises the bar on the criteria that are factored into its scores to ensure that ranked companies continue to meet the highest industry standards for LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion.
