Law Week Colorado Names Suneeta Hazra to 2025 ‘Top Litigators’ List

Arnold & Porter partner Suneeta Hazra was named to Law Week Colorado’s 2025 “Top Litigators” list, which recognizes the “leading trial attorneys in the state who had the biggest wins and saves” in the courtroom during 2024.

Law Week Colorado acknowledged Hazra’s notable trial achievements, including securing a summary judgment in a prolonged insurance coverage dispute in the Southern District of Ohio for client AIG and playing a pivotal role in the Arnold & Porter trial team that achieved a $33.45 million jury verdict for clients Lindt & Sprüngli, Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, and Russell Stover.

As former Chief of the Criminal Division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado, Hazra told Law Week Colorado that her extensive experience on both the defense and prosecution sides has given her a multidisciplinary approach to her white collar defense and investigations practice at the firm. “Having been on both sides means I am able to evaluate the weaknesses in my case and then look for ways to shore them up,” Hazra said. “I am more open minded and able to acknowledge vulnerabilities, which I think is harder if you have only done one side. It also allows me to understand opposing counsel’s point of view, which can help in leading to successful resolutions.”

A veteran trial lawyer and former prosecutor, Hazra brings nearly two decades of government experience to represent individual and corporate clients in internal and government investigations and complex litigation. Hazra leverages her former government experience to defend clients being investigated for healthcare fraud, qui tam actions involving the Anti-Kickback Statute and the False Claims Act, cybersecurity matters, and environmental enforcement actions.
