Daily Journal Names Deborah Fishman and Nicholas Lee to 2025 ‘Top Intellectual Property Lawyers’ List
Arnold & Porter partners Deborah Fishman and Nicholas Lee were named to Daily Journal’s list of “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers 2025.” The annual list recognizes an outstanding group of California-based attorneys whose achievements over the past year have significantly influenced the field of intellectual property.
Fishman, recognized on the list since 2022, was commended for her notable litigation successes representing biopharmaceutical and medical device companies in patent and commercial disputes. Daily Journal emphasized her lead role in a recent complex patent licensing case, where Fishman and the Arnold & Porter team achieved three favorable rulings in a single day. The publication further described Fishman as being “at the forefront of patent and intellectual property litigation” for nearly 30 years.
Daily Journal highlighted Lee for his extensive courtroom expertise, demonstrated through his handling of numerous patent litigation trials. The publication commended Lee for securing a complete victory for Adobe in a patent litigation case, where he acted as both trial and appellate counsel in July 2024.
