Collective Bargaining
Clients regularly call on our lawyers to handle their most contentious labor negotiations in a variety of industries, including (among others) hospitals, dental chains, social service agencies, and waste management providers. We have successfully handled disputes where clients have sought wage freezes and various concessions in response to business setbacks. In addition to providing "at the table" negotiating acumen, we also coordinate with the client's entire team to ensure legal and effective public communications and work disruption planning. We handle all such matters with integrity and an acute sensitivity to our clients' desire that their business successes—and not their labor disputes—should be what makes the headlines. When needed, we have both defended and prosecuted unfair labor practice proceedings arising from labor negotiations.
