Corey W. Glass advises ultra-high net worth individuals and their families, family offices, and closely held businesses on matters involving tax and estate planning, trust and estate administration, asset protection, and business succession planning, with a particular focus on tax-efficient multi-generational wealth transfer planning strategies. Corey’s practice includes counseling clients through the design, formation and administration of family offices, family investment vehicles, and private trust companies. He advises business owners on planning with qualified small business stock (QSBS) and helps fund managers navigate the complicated federal gift tax issues involved when transferring carried interests in private equity and hedge funds. Corey is well versed in complex gift tax reporting issues and disclosure obligations and represents clients in tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service.
Before joining Arnold & Porter, Corey worked in the private client services group at EY’s National Tax office, where he advised resident and non-resident individuals with respect to cross-border income and transfer tax planning and tax compliance.
