Jeff Kapner is co-chair of the firm's Real Estate practice. He provides pragmatic and balanced advice to both property owners and institutional lenders involved with commercial real estate development and finance.
Mr. Kapner regularly handles acquisitions, financings and dispositions of lodging and hospitality properties, shopping centers, raw land, condominium projects, office buildings, and mixed-use projects located throughout the United States. He has extensive experience representing borrowers and lenders in transactions involving mortgage and mezzanine debt, construction financing, joint ventures, workouts, debt restructuring and note sales. His clients include opportunity funds, foreign and domestic financial institutions, private equity groups, REITS, hotel operators, institutional investors and developers.
Mr. Kapner attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a member of the Journal of International Economic Law.
