Boston Magazine Recognizes Brian Dunphy and Giselle Joffre as ‘Top Lawyers’ in 2024

Arnold & Porter partners Brian Dunphy and Giselle Joffre were named to Boston Magazine’s 2024 list of the top lawyers in Massachusetts. The publication’s fourth annual guide recognizes Boston lawyers with exceptional legal skills and a genuine commitment to serving their clients.

Boston Magazine bases its selection on peer recommendations to highlight those practitioners who “aren’t just skilled professionals, but also approachable advocates.” The list will be published in the magazine’s December 2024 issue.

Dunphy is a healthcare litigator and trusted adviser for clients. He counsels healthcare providers, health plans, Medicare Advantage plans, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology and life sciences companies, and clinical laboratories. Dunphy also represents clients facing government investigations and whistleblower complaints regarding alleged violations of the federal False Claims Act (FCA) and similar state laws. He handles complex commercial litigation involving business disputes for healthcare, life sciences, and biotech companies, as well as defending product liability cases for pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Joffre defends executives and corporations in high-stakes, government investigations, including investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. She has practiced as a litigator for over twenty years, having started her career defending complex commercial, mutual fund, financial services and False Claims Act litigation, as well as corporate crime. Joffre subsequently served as a federal prosecutor and now uses her prosecutorial experience to best advocate for clients.
