Sheena Thomas Joins Arnold & Porter’s Privacy Practice
Arnold & Porter announced today that Sheena Thomas has joined the firm’s Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Strategy practice as counsel, based in Washington, D.C.
Thomas brings to the firm significant experience handling privacy and cybersecurity matters, having supported global data protection programs and advised on regulatory compliance issues most recently as counsel at two leading tech companies. She provides strategic guidance on the development and implementation of data privacy programs to support compliance with both U.S. and global privacy and data protection requirements. Thomas also advises on overall data strategy while staying on top of legislative and regulatory developments and has experience advising on product and contract reviews related to privacy and cybersecurity. Prior to her corporate roles, Thomas advised clients across various industries on privacy, cybersecurity, and e-commerce matters at an Am Law 100 firm.
Thomas earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and her B.A. from Wellesley College.
