Arnold & Porter Again Named to Global Competition Review’s 2025 ‘GCR 100’ Guide
Global Competition Review once again included Arnold & Porter in its annual “GCR 100” guide of law firms and economic consultancies who are “doing the most important antitrust work around the world.” The guide again ranked Arnold & Porter as a “Global Elite” firm for competition law. The firm was also included in the guide’s list of the 10 best cartel, non-cartel, and private litigation practices, and its international antitrust capabilities and clients were featured in the guide’s regional sections for Brussels, California, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Arnold & Porter’s antitrust/competition practice continues to be recognized worldwide for its breadth and depth of experience and its track record of excellence. Global Competition Review highlighted the firm’s strong docket of work, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector and on the merger control side. The publication lauded the firm’s work advising Pfizer on its $43 billion acquisition of Seagen, a Seattle-based biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing antibody-based therapies for the treatment of cancer. The acquisition was the largest pharma merger in terms of transaction value since 2020. GCR also highlighted the firm’s full defense verdict for client Bayer HealthCare LLC in an antitrust lawsuit brought by Tevra Brands LLC.
Earlier this year, the firm’s work advising Pfizer on its acquisition of Seagen won the “Impact Deal” award at the LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards 2024.
Debbie Feinstein leads the firm’s Global Antitrust practice, Niels Ersbøll is head of the European Antitrust/Competition practice, and Jonathan Gleklen serves as chair of the firm’s U.S. Antitrust/Competition practice.
