DC Courts Name 236 Arnold & Porter Attorneys to 2022 Pro Bono Honor Roll
The District of Columbia Courts named 236 Arnold & Porter attorneys to their 12th annual Pro Bono Honor Roll, which recognizes contributions of DC Bar members who donated 50 hours or more of pro bono service during the last calendar year. Of the 236 Arnold & Porter attorneys who were named to the list, 160 of them were granted the distinction of "High Honors" in recognition of providing 100 hours or more of pro bono service.
The 2022 Honor Roll included 4,714 attorneys who reported performing 50 or more hours of volunteer legal work in 2022, and 57% of those attorneys reported performing over 100 hours of volunteer legal work. These hours were put toward helping thousands of D.C. residents facing “ongoing economic challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, a growing housing crisis, and reduced benefits and services due to diminished public resources.” This year's list of honorees reflects a diverse cross-section of the DC Bar's membership, spanning 162 law firms and solo practices, federal government agencies, and public interest organizations.
